Counselling for Young People

jovenWe are proud to offer an approachable, non-directive Counselling Services for Young People where your feelings are valued and taken seriously. We both come from work backgrounds supporting young people in a number of different contexts, including child care, child protection, advocacy, support and mediation.

We have experience of working with young people encountering:

Parental separation, homesickness, body image issues, bullying, concentration difficulties, misunderstandings, depression, family conflict, eating disorders, confusion, shyness, low-confidence, bereavement, heartache, disconnection, anger, sexuality, isolation, abuse & displacement

It can be very difficult to know who to trust with challenging feelings. Time with a counsellor, who is not immediately involved in your everyday life, can give you a chance to think and feel things through safely.

Counselling can help you feel more self-assured, confident and self-directed.
