Mini-group participants meet at a regular time and place to share and discuss whatever they bring to the session. Mini groups consist of individuals who did not know each other previous to their meeting within the group.
It’s a time to share, to discuss, to listen and to be heard.
At the first meeting group rules are negotiated amongst participants regarding confidentiality, absence, personal responsibility and safety.
In order to maintain and consolidate a feeling of containment and security, once the group has begun – no new participants are able to join the group.
Mini Groups last eight sessions.
If group members collectively wish to continue the group, a further eight session group can be arranged mutually.
Mini group are facilitated by an Integrative Counsellor & Group Facilitator.
